We provide specialist travel and repatriation services, primarily to medical assistance organisations, travel insurers and other businesses. We may also work on a white-label basis as an extension of our clients’ teams.

Depending on the circumstances, Voyageur24 may process personal information as a data controller or on behalf of another organisation as a data processor.

Data protection law

We process personal information in accordance with applicable UK data protection and privacy legislation, including:

When arranging travel or repatriation, we may also process information including:

We may receive this information directly from an individual or from organisations involved in arranging the journey, including medical assistance companies, travel insurers, healthcare providers, airlines and other travel or medical service providers.

Medical and health information

Due to the specialist nature of medical repatriation, we may sometimes need to process information relating to a passenger’s health.

This may include information about an illness or injury, mobility requirements, medical clearance, MEDIF documentation, medical equipment, medical escorts or stretcher requirements.

Health information is classed as a special category of personal data under UK data protection law. We only process this information where it is necessary and where we have an appropriate lawful basis and legal condition for doing so.

Voyageur24 does not make clinical decisions about whether an individual is medically fit to fly. These decisions are made by the appropriate medical professionals and, where applicable, the relevant airline.

How we use personal information

We may use personal information to:

• respond to enquiries;
• arrange flights and other travel services;
• coordinate medical repatriations;
• assist with airline medical clearance and MEDIF requirements;
• arrange medical escorts, stretchers and airport assistance;
• arrange accommodation and ground transport;

• communicate with clients, passengers and relevant service providers;
• manage our client and supplier relationships;
• maintain appropriate business and booking records;
• meet our legal and regulatory obligations; and

Our team provides 24/7 support, so urgent cases and travel arrangements may be handled outside normal UK business hours.

Depending on the circumstances, we may process personal information because:

• medical assistance companies and travel insurers;
• healthcare providers and medical professionals;

• professional and technology service providers supporting our business.

We only share information that is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose and in accordance with our data protection responsibilities.

We do not sell personal information.

White-label services

Voyageur24 may work on a white-label basis as an extension of another organisation’s team.

Where we process personal information on behalf of a client, we do so in accordance with our contractual and data protection responsibilities and, where applicable, the client’s instructions.

In these circumstances, the client’s own privacy policy may also explain how personal information relating to the service is used.

International travel and data transfers

Because Voyageur24 coordinates international travel, it may sometimes be necessary to share personal information with organisations outside the United Kingdom – for example, an overseas airline, healthcare provider, hotel or ground transport provider.

Where UK international data transfer requirements apply, we take appropriate steps to ensure personal information is transferred in accordance with applicable data protection law.

Our website

Our website is primarily an information resource and does not currently provide online forms for submitting personal information.

Voyageur24 does not currently use cookies for analytics, advertising or marketing purposes on this website.

Our website may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites and recommend reviewing their privacy information before providing personal information to them.
